South Wigston High School is proud to have achieved the Parent Friendly Award, recognising the school’s commitment to building positive and effective relationships with parents and carers.

The award reflects the work taking place across the school to strengthen communication, listen to families and create meaningful opportunities for parents and carers to contribute to school life. Strong partnerships between home and school play an important part in supporting learners’ education, wellbeing and personal development.

This achievement would not have been possible without the continued involvement of our families, learners and staff. We would like to thank everyone who shared their views, offered feedback and supported the school throughout the process.
